Simple but effective ASP script that detects a variety of bad or self-serving crawlers (robots/spiders) and denies them access to any pages you want to keep them out of. This has two effects; primarily it stops them from getting to the page which means they can't gather any data from your site, secondly as they are only served a small error page this helps to reduces the bandwidth they consumes, even more so if they're attempting to find links to navigate the site.
